LA Angel

Maybe I should have called this video “Freeway Angel.”

Return to the Sad Man

Recently, I was in Montreal and luckily I had my camera when I stumbled onto this sculpture again. This time, I got to see it at night! Then later, I found him a “friend.”

Scenes from Legoland

I just couldn’t resist. Legoland is definitely worth a visit. The Lego busts you see in the video are of: Luciano Pavarotti Salvador Dali

Dance Anywhere

I really enjoyed hearing the philosophy expressed by danceanywhere’s channel. I’m always interested in different types of art and the energy and joy that can be derived from experimenting with some of its boundaries.

Village of the Large Fountain

This is a replica of a fountain which was found in a place called the Village of the Large Fountain in Pompei. The replica is located at the Getty Villa near Malibu. It is easy to take water for granted, but it is important to see what a fountain means in the context of the village. Enjoy!

Shaking Man

Art always poses so many questions. What does it mean to be a businessman in motion? Why does he shake? What is Terry Allen trying to tell us? For more information about Terry Allen see: http://www.lalouver.com/html/allen_bio_comm.html

Twilight at the Monument

On a recent trip to D.C. I thought I would take a Lumiere video of the White House. I didn’t find my footage to be as interesting as my footage of the Washington Monument, so I put that up instead. This is not a Lumiere video, but it was Lumiere-inspired in that I set up a tripod and just filmed what I could see. I always notice so much using this method and often discover things, such as the study of contrasts in this video, by using Lumiere-inspired rules for making videos.
